Anchor text is the hyperlinked words that take us to the linked page when clicked. It is called anchor text because it connects two pages.

Partial Anchor Text - It is called a partial link when you link the above article with anchor “web design” or "web design package in Singapore".The reason why it is called partial anchor text is that the keyword of the page that is linked matches partially with anchor text.

Generic Anchor Text - When words like click here, visit our website, hire us is used as an anchor text. Then it is called generic anchor text.

Branded Anchor Text - When brand names or person names are used as an anchor text. Then it is called branded anchor text. For example, Skynzois Designers or Sam Wilson

Naked Anchor Text - When a website's direct URL is used as an anchor text. Then it is naked. Example: www.webdesignsingapore.com
